With the new section fabricated the o/s triangular floor section spot welds were drilled out ready for removal of the section.

The panel was then removed, but the swage left in situ. The swage was left as this is very difficult to replicate.

The new panel fabricated with the swage cut out was then primed ready for welding in place

Now welded in and primed the structure is now as strong as when the body was first built.
